A new schedule is in place to refurbish propeller shafts for a range of current sea rescue boats.
The prop shafts are of a high grade Stainless Steel and require the specialist repair that "Spiral Weld" has established, to return the worn areas back to new condition, so they can be put back into service for another term of reliable seagoing rescue operations around the coast of England.
