Who are we and how can we help you?
- SpiralWeld™ have worked with the marine industry since our inception, repairing critical components such as: Tailshaft Liners, Propeller Shafts, Rudder Stocks and Stabiliser Stocks.
- We will carefully select an appropriate material for ReManufacture to “as new” performance or, where required, upgrades can be made for significant enhancement to original specification.
- Our special techniques will selectively bond both parent metal and performance enhancing alloys to worn, damaged, or new components. A minimal effect on the parent metal structure is achieved through this carefully controlled low energy input process, which balances stresses and avoids distortion.
- Our Quality Management System, accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2008, helps to provide the highest standard of customer service including all of the technical, quality, and planning documentation required to meet your needs, whilst ensuring the quality of the finished products.
- Our clients in this sector include: RNLI, MOD, City Cruises.

Tail Shaft Liners/ deep sea seals
- We can recover shaft liners of all sizes from small boats to large vessels
- We can remanufacture most Tail Shaft Liner materials
- We can upgrade the component during the ReManufacture process for improved service life

Rudder Stocks
- We can remanufacture all sizes and types of Rudder Stocks
- We can remanufacture most Rudder Stocks materials

Propeller Shafts
- We can remanufacture propeller shafts up to 5 Metres long
- Damaged tapers can be remanufactured
- Bent shafts can be straightened during the process or seperately
- We can repair and upgrade the component
- We can upgrade the component during the ReManufacture process for improved service life
